In an attempt to catch up...Memorial Day Weekend

The last two years have included a weekend with Aunt Chalene in May. We think its a fun tradition that should continue! This year, we went as a family and brought the tent trailer. We enjoyed some much needed sunshine! We went to the Gateway Mall and shopped a little, ate at Tacano's, saw the latest Shrek movie in 3D and went to a Bee's game. We had a BBQ with some fantastic family, made s'mores, and stopped at In-n-Out on our way home. It was a great weekend!

The girls loved meeting "Bumble Bee"

Our little Rebekah is now SEVEN! We can't hardly believe she has gotten so big. She is so much fun to have around. She always keeps us laughing. Her giggle is absolutely contagious! She is responsible with school work, helpful around the house, easy going and usually happy. When she's not though.... watch out! The red head is definitely a red head ;)
She started the day with her favorite breakfast- chocolate chip pancakes with whip cream, plus the addition of strawberries! Very yummy.

For her party, she had a FLOWER POWER party. So fun. The girls each got to make flower shirts. We wrote the all the girls' names that attended the party at the bottom for grass and drew stems. Then the girls got to make flowers with their thumbs and fingers! They loved it.

We had a flower "cupcake cake" and the girls each got to decorate their own cupcakes with a plethora of sprinkles to choose from.
They loved that too!

Here's our little cutie with her cake.

The cake.

After the party, we had Grandma and Grandpa stop by bearing gifts. They brought Rebekah the one present she wanted most. Scriptures.
Isn't she a great kid?
After everyone was gone and the boys were off to baseball practice, I asked Rebekah where she wanted to go for her birthday dinner. Guess where little Bekah picked?
Old McDonald's (that is what Olivia calls it)

One of the other presents from Grandma and Grandpa was a darling little ceramic tea set.
So, naturally, we had to have a "tea party"!
The kids enjoyed hot chocolate and oreo cookies.
It was fun.

Happy Birthday, Bekah!
Thanks for being a Yeager!
We love you!
